I don't have a rooting step for sm-j320p but I have for Galaxy J3 SM-J320R4 running on marshmallow 6.0.1. Maybe you can just try.

I don't want to take a chance to brick my phone. What could happen if it doesn't work? If you think it's safe to try, could you send me a link to the download or attach the apk to an email to mgkanepda@gmail.com .
