I have been trying to for six weeks to find a way to recover my gallery accidentally deleted. nothing works, so, if I use this procedure will it harm my data which had not been touched since the incident. I have not used the phone once since then and have only tried to use apps to recover the file, none of them work because they can not achieve root.

Did you tried kingroot for rooting?

yes I tried it, and many others.
I started off just trying software that would recover photos, that claimed root not required, then others that would root and then list lost photos found to recover. Nothing seems to work on this particular version and security patch. I contacted several companies that advertised they could recover from phones but the lowest quote was $300, highest $750.

anyone have any suggestions for recovering gallery on this phone running 6.0.1 and june16 security update please help.
