This is realized using the Kingo Rooting software. The main advantage about this method is that you only need the Kingo Rooting software and with that you can root or unroot any Samsung Galaxy Series smartphones.

Step by step procedure to root your Samsung Galaxy Android Smartphone

1. First make sure that you have made a backup of all your phone data including contacts and personal files. Normally it is not necessary, this is only for a worst case scenario.

2. Now download the Kingo Android Rooting software from this link

3. Once downloaded please install the Kingo Android Rooting software on your PC.

4. Now connect your Samsung Galaxy Phone or Tablet using USB cable with the "USB Debugging Mode" checked in from the Settings->Developer Options. Please cross check the below screenshot for reference.

5. Kindly wait for the necessary drivers to be installed on the PC. Check the below screenshot.

6. Once the installation is completed disconnect the USB cable and open the Kingo Android Rooting software. Now connect your Galaxy Smartphone with the USB cable and you will see a similar window like the one given below.

Once successfully connected you will see the below given window on your PC.

Now select your device Android firmware version and click OK.

You will get a similar screen like the one given above, click OK in the Kingo windows and also click "Grant" on your device.

Now click "Root"

Once clicked you will see a similar screen on your PC. Now please wait for the rooting process to finish.

If the rooting was successful then you will get a similar screen like the one given above, then click "Finish". Once you click "Finish" your Galaxy device will restart and upon restart your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone will be rooted with super user permissions.

Next section will help you to unroot your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone in a very few simple steps.

We can continue with unrooting, assuming that you have already downloaded and installed the Kingo Android Rooting software, if not please download it from this link.

1. To initiate the procedures please open the Kingo Android Rooting software on your PC and connect your Galaxy phone using USB cable with USB Debugging mode activated.

2. If you are successfully connected then you will get a similar screen like the one shown in the screenshot given below.

Now click "Remove Root".

Now you will get a similar screen on your PC. Please wait for the procedure to get completed.

If everything went right then you will get a similar window like the given one above.

Hurray! your favorite Galaxy Edition is now unrooted.

Samsung galaxy note 3 neo stuck at Downloading...Do not turn off target!! how much time it will take?

How long it was like that. If it's for quite long time, then press and hold power button it restart it. Try enabling usb debugging and install usb drivers, then try again.
