This is a simple tutorial on rooting your all time favourite Samsung Galaxy E7 SM-E700H running on android Lollipop 5.1.1 firmware. Eventhough this phone was initially packed with the sweet KitKat 4.4.4, it was recently updated to the popular Lollipop 5.1.1. So if you are also among the ones who have already updated it with the 5.1.1 version then please follow the below steps to root it in few minitues.
But, please note that rooting will void your warranty, but you can always unroot it to reinstate warranty. SamsungSFour.Com will not be liable for any damage caused as a result of executing the below given steps.
Before proceeding with the procedure given here please make sure that you have made a complete backup of your phone memory including contacts, photos etc. Also the phone battery should be charged to a min of 80%.
Steps To Root Samsung Galaxy E7 SM-E700H running on android Lollipop 5.1.1 firmware
1. First please download the necessary files for rooting Galaxy E7 from the below link;

Please extract the zip archive to your PC desktop for easy access. Below screenshot gives a vague idea on the extracted contents.
3. Now to proceed "USB debugging mode" should be enabled on your Samsung Galaxy E7, you can enable it from Settings->Developer Options->USB Debugging, or from the below given tutorial

4. Once done we have to enter your Galaxy E7 into "Download Mode", to do that switch off your device and press and hold "Volume Down+Home+Power buttons at the same time until you get a warning screen like the one given below.
Once you get the warning screen press "Volume Up" button to confirm and you will be entered into android "Download Mode". The below snap shot shows you the final download mode screen.
4. Now please open Odin and connect your Galaxy E7 SM-E700H with your PC. An "Added" message from the Odin will confirm a successful connection. Now click the "AP" button and select the extracted ".tar.md5" file from your PC desktop. Please refer the below image.
Please make sure that “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” options are only check marked in the Odin.
5. Once confirmed please click the "Start" button in the Odin and wait for some time to finish the rooting process. When it's done your device will reboot and it will be finally rooted with super user privileges.
