Steps to install Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) custom recovery on all Samsung Galaxy Android Smarphones
1. This method utilises Odin tool from Samsung so please download it from the below link first;
Once downloaded please extract it to find the .exe file. Now run it as administrator.
2. In the next step please make sure that you have enabled “Developer options”, “USB debugging” and “OEM unlock” on your Galaxy Smartphone.
- To enable “Developer Options” got to Settings->About phone->and tap Build number seven times.
- To enable “OEM unlock” please go to Settings->Developer Options->Enable OEM unlock
- To enable “USB debugging” please go to Settings->Developer Options->USB debugging

3. In the next step you need to download the TWRP file for your device. Please check the below link for that;
Search for your device and download the correct tar file.

4. Now boot your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone into “Download Mode“. For that switch off your phone, press and hold the “Vol Down”+”Power”+”Home” button at the same time. For detailed step by step tutorial on entering download mode please check the below tutorial links.

5. Once in “Download Mode” please connect your phone to your PC using the USB data cable. You will get an added message from the Odin for successful connection. If you didn’t get it then please reinstall the Samsung USB drivers and try again.
6. Now click the “AP” button in the Odin and select the TWRP file (.tar) you have downloaded before. Once done click the “Start” button in the Odin and wait for the procedure to get completed.
After completing the installation your Galaxy Smartphone will reboot. You can confirm whether you have got it installed right by pressing and holding the “Power”+”Home”+”Vol Up” buttons. When you do that you will be entered into recovery mode.
If you get the below screen then you have installed TWRP successfully on your device.
