1st Method:
1. Hard Resetting Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus From Recovery
First you have to enter your Galaxy S8/S8 Plus into the android recovery mode. For that when your phone is in the switched off state, please press and hold “Bixby” + “Volume Up”+”Power” buttons at the same time. Hold all the buttons until the phone vibrates, then you will see a screen with an android logo, now please release all buttons to enter into recovery mode.

3. Hard Resetting Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus remotely using Android Device Manager
This one is a tricky process and can be done remotely even if you doesn’t have physical access to your phone. This can be done when your phone is stolen and you want to erase all your personal data on it. The only requirement is that the phone should be connected to the internet.
For that first open the Google Play Store and sign in using the same account which is there on your Galaxy S8/S8 Plus.
Now please check for the settings gear icon on the right top of the page and click it. Once clicked you will get a sub menu. Here click the “Android Device Manager” and a new page will be opened. On the right side you can see the current location of your phone.
Once clicked you will get the above page. Here please click the “Erase” button and you will be guided to the next page like the one given below.
